We do Hudson Valley studio maternity & newborn sessions a little differently. Our spacious natural light studio has spaces that give you an “in home” feel without the hassle of having to tidy up your home or figure out what time the best light happens. We also have multiple other sections of the studio featuring comfy things to sit on, bright white walls, and giant windows for a clean studio look without the stuffy studio feel.
If you can’t figure out what to wear, ask me about my client closet! Props in our sessions are minimal, as our sessions focus mostly on connection and real moments your little one(s). We have a wide range of wraps, headbands and hats for newborns but If you have something you'd like your baby to wear, that's ok too! Pets are also allowed in studio, so if you have a furry family member, bring them along!
We also offer breastfeeding sessions, 1st birthday cake smashes, monthly milestone sessions, family sessions and a wide variety of seasonal mini sessions (check instagram for mini details) and really, anything else you can dream up!

LET'S CHAT ABOUT
YOUR SESSION!
To lock in your session, pay your retainer, and sign your portrait agreement. We then pick a date for your session(s)!!
(For newborns we loosely schedule it, because obviously you don't REALLY know when your baby is coming)
Book your
session!
For studio sessions- I can help with anything from outfit selections (what's up client closet!), color schemes, themes, etc.
For on location sessions- I can help with location suggestions, timing suggestions for the best lighting, and outfits (yes, you can use an outfit from my client closet as well, I just have to have notice!)

I will touch base with you a week before your session to make sure that we are on track and that you don't need anything else to make your session go smoothly!
For Newborn sessions, I request that you let me know asap after the baby is born because sessions are best done within the first two weeks after birth!
We touch base as the session nears
We meet up, we take adorable bump or baby pics.
If it's a newborn session, hopefully minimal crying (from me and mom as we commiserate child birth. JK IT"S GREAT....*nervous laugh*)
The day of your session!
So much will already have changed in just three weeks. You will ooo and aww at your belly pics, or pics of your squishy newborn.
Or if it's neither of those types of sessions,
maybe things are exactly the same?
The images are delivered digitally 3 weeks after the session.
Although you are able to make prints and albums on your own for sessions booked with me, if you don't want to take care of it (hello, you have other stuff going on like taking care of a new human), I'm at your service!! Don't let your images just live online or on facebook. Print them!!
(Ps- I'm totally a hypocrite and never print
anything, oops!)
